we grow naturally but we have no choice as regards to being tall ar short as this is determined by genetics. i am of average height and i think it is better to be tall but not too tall.
a person who has ordinary-looking features but tall enough has an impressive personality. he attracts attention wherever he goes and most people take a second look at him.
when it comes to certain jobs , a tall person definitely has an advantage over a short person. in the field of fashion and beauty , being short is a disadvantage. a catwalk model or a beauty queen must be of a certain height in order to make an impression. the same goes for people who aspire to be stewards or stewardesses in the airlines industry. short people can never hope to take up these jobs however much ther desire to do.
in sports and games , a person always does better if he has the height. for example , a tall runner can faster and a jumper can jump higher. a tall person will be of much use in a volleyball or basketball game. he can defend and attack more efficiently than a short player. this is equally true in games such as football , badminton , tennis and other games. a short person is very handicapped in such games and he has to work doubly hard to compensate for his lack of height.
tall person also do not have problems riding a bicycle , a bike or driving a car. for short people , their legs are not too long enough to reach the pedal. this is especially so when riding a bicycle. short people , however do not need to spend extra money on materials to make clothes. they can get shoes that fit easily or find beds that can accommodate them :)
